We do not need to collect or process sensitive personal data (e.g. data about your health) within the framework of our normal business activities.

4.What is our policy regarding children’s personal data?

We believe it is extremely important to protect the privacy of children accessing the Internet and encourage parents or guardians to spend time with them in order to participate in and manage their online activities.

With our website, only adults can access the site and/or create an account.

You must therefore ensure that your children do not give their, or your, personal data over the Internet without first asking for your permission. In fact, any minor can only directly transmit their personal data through a parent or guardian, with their explicit consent. You can check, amend or delete your child’s personal data at any time. 6.Does We disclose your personal data and why?

When We need to share your data with with other organisations (such as service providers for example), we make sure that these organisations also have a security policy in place to protect your data.

As explained in “1.What we do to protect your personal data”, your personal data will not be shared, sold, leased or disclosed for purposes other than those described in the Policy. Therefore, except where You have given your consent, We will not sell your personal data to third-party companies for their own marketing purposes. Nevertheless, it is possible that your data may be transmitted if it is required by law and government authorities for example. Should of one of our businesses or our company be sold to another company, the legal successor will have access to the data held by the transferring entity and therefore probably to some of your personal data.

7. For how long will your personal data be kept?

Your personal data will be retained by Us only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. The criteria We use to decide how long your personal data should be kept are as follows:

  • We will keep your personal data in a form that allows You to be identified for as long as You are a member of a loyalty programme, are taking advantage of a promotional offer, or for as long as our contractual relationship lasts;
  • If You contact Us with a request, We will keep your personal data for the time needed to process your request;
  • If you create an account, We will keep your personal data until You ask Us to delete it or after a period of inactivity (no active interaction with the brands) defined in accordance with local regulations and guidelines.
  • Applications: If You write to Us to send Us your CV and any other information about your motivations and background (hereinafter referred to as “Application Data”), We will keep your Application Data for as long as is needed to assess your application. Should your application be unsuccessful, your Application Data will be kept for the period stated in the forms relating to the position in question or for the period specified in the letter or e-mail reply sent to you. Should your application result in your being hired, your Application Data will be kept for as long as you are employed in our company.

Your personal data may, however, be kept for a longer period of time in accordance with specific legal obligations or the applicable statutory limitation periods.

After the above-mentioned periods for storing your data have expired, your personal data will either be securely deleted from our databases or made anonymous.

8.How do We protect, store and transfer your personal data?

We employ all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data. Please be aware, however, that these measures do not extend to any information You choose to share on public platforms, including third-party social media networks.

With regard to your financial data, We apply industry standards of protection and comply with the legal requirements. Your details are encrypted when you make online purchases on our website.

You can also help Us to ensure that your data is protected by using the privacy settings on our website, by choosing a complex login password, and by being vigilant when logging into your account from a public device.

The storage and processing of your personal data requires that, at one point or another, it be transferred to and stored in a country other than the one in which you reside. Personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If this happens, We will do its utmost to ensure that such international data transfer is carried out with the appropriate level and guarantees of security. Please be aware that sometimes if you delete your personal data, or ask for it to be deleted, your user account will automatically be deleted too. We may also be required to retain some of your personal data after you have asked for it to be deleted, in order to meet our statutory or contractual obligations.
