Salted butter brownies

  1. 200g Grand Fermage sea-salted butter

    150g brown sugar

    200g dark, full-bodied chocolate

    100g sieved flour

    4 whole eggs

    150 g walnut kernels

And don't forget to grade the recipe:


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a dish of around 20cm square and coat it with sugar.
  3. Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie and add the sea-salted Grand Fermage butter.
  4. Mix the sugar and eggs and whisk them until the mixture whitens.
  5. Pour in the sieved flour.
  6. Next, incorporate the melted chocolate with the butter and mix quickly, but gently.
  7. Add the walnut kernels after chopping them coarsely.
  8. Place the mixture into the buttered sugared dish. Cook for around 25-30 minutes.
  9. The top should be crispy with a slight crust and the inside should be soft.
  10. Leave to cool a little before removing from the dish.
