Fluffy Orange Gingerbread

  1. 100g unsalted Grand Fermage butter

    250g flour

    175g orange marmalade

    1 sachet of yeast

    150g runny honey

    2 tsp. powdered cinnamon

    2 tsp. powdered ginger

    2 tbsp. hot water

    1 beaten egg

    Pinch of salt

And don't forget to grade the recipe:


  1. Melt the butter.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, spices and salt.
  3. Make a well in the centre and pour in the melted butter and runny honey.
  4. Mix until combined.
  5. Then add in the orange marmalade, the beaten egg and the hot water.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake tin.
  7. Bake for 1 hour at 120°C, then 15 minutes at 170°C.
