Shallot Jam and Delice de la Loire crostinis

Ingredients

  1. 100g Grand Fermage Délice de la Loire cheese

    25g unsalted Grand Fermage butter

    1 half baguette

    5 shallots

    1 tsp. herbes de Provence

    1 tsp. honey

    Salt

    Pepper

And don't forget to grade the recipe:

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the shallots.
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan, then sweat down the shallots for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
  4. Add the honey, half a glass of water, the herbes de Provence, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix and continue cooking for a further 2 minutes.
  6. Cut the half-baguette into slices.
  7. Spread the shallot jam onto the bread.
  8. Cut the Délice de la Loire cheese into slices and set them on the mini-toasts.
  9. Place in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is slightly melted.
  10. Sprinkle with a little extra herbes de Provence and dig in!
